The Miami Open is a WTA 1000 event, just a level below Grand Slams which are the biggest tournaments in tennis. To get to the semis you have to beat 5 players. And Alex has just taken down a 5-time GS champion and two more GS winners on her way to the semis. She’s broken into the top 100.
