I'm an underground nightclub house music DJ from NYC who now gets to spin live on the radio. I was raised in the 80's and 90's and grew up during the rave scene of the mid/late 90s and early 2000's, attending some of the most infamous clubs from the early days of the scene, such as Sound Factory, Twilo, Crobar, BED, Sullivan Room, Cielo, etc. I'm an all state jazz sax player who fell in love with dancing to house music at these clubs and decided to share that passion with others. I turned my musical ambitions from the sax to being a DJ during college. After graduation I started playing clubs in Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, then eventually moved to NYC. I've been a resident DJ at Room 960 in Hartford, Guesthouse in NYC, and opened for the likes of Timo Maas, Hernan Cattaneo, Honey Dijon, Boris, and John Tejada, as well as more recently playing at Time Nightclub in Costa Mesa opening for Afrojack as well as Carnage. At the end of the day I consider myself an artist and I like painting a picture or telling a story with every mix I do. My favorite things about life in Laguna Beach other than KXFM, are the beautiful scenery, the interesting and friendly people, and the mac n cheese at Selanne's Steak Tavern.
I got this gig because I became friends with Keith (one of the other 2 DJ's in the Fifty Fathoms crew) who asked me to do a guest mix for the show. After doing multiple guest stints, Keith and Joel asked me to be a full time member of the show, and I'm super grateful for that. This show allows me the opportunity to do amazing art and share it with the world.
