Craig Cooley
It was more than 7 years ago when I was asked if I could meet with the KXFM team to discuss if
there was a good match for me and radio broadcasting. Little did I realize a passion I had
explored in high school, would be rekindled, and I would come full circle to something I truly
love, live radio!
As a hospitality professional for 30 interim years, since high school, I gained extensive
experience as a guest speaker for industry events, master of ceremonies at corporate seminars,
motivator at fundraisers, and host at entertainment venues. In hindsight, I feel my journey
prepared me for live radio as I learned the power of insightful and motivating conversation, the fine art of sharing life stories, and compassionate experiences. Little did I realize all those years ago, that my path and life’s experiences would take me to the wonderfully rich beach city of Laguna where I can be a voice in and of the community! That is KXFM Community Radio!
