Kurtis Gentile

I am a singer/guitarist/songwriter who grew up in a musical family. Early on, my grandfather, who was also a guitar player, introduced me to the all the standards of the big band era.

When I heard the Beatles for the first time, I knew that playing music was what I wanted to do – first drums, then guitar. With the steady influence of all the great 60’s British and American pop and rock bands, my singing and playing style began to take shape.

Over the years I’ve had the chance to play with some of my favorite rock/pop musicians such as Mike Nesmith (The Monkees), Nancy Wilson (Heart), and Kenny Loggins. In addition to performing as a solo artist, he also fronts a classic rock band named The Heretics.
