About the Host

After moving to this little vortex town in 2000, I realized a few years later that I was just sitting at my desk working all the time. I decided to get out and explore my chosen town and, thus, the “Best of Laguna Beach™” blog and books were inadvertently born. Over these last 17 years, apparently more than 100,000 readers are ALSO interested in this local’s “best of” findings for everything from breakfast burritos to live music and our rockin’ chefs. No one pays me for these reviews, so you’re promised my unscathed, never bribed opinion. In order to actually get paid, I continued in my 30-year run as global marketing agency owner and ghost writer of many best-selling books for the personal development industry’s greats. About 10 years ago, I added countrywide restaurant and resort consulting to my resumé. That proved so much fun that I closed up the other stuff and then opened a personal development coaching and speaking business that now spans across the world. In the end and to sum it all up: I’ve always been about creating a better world for you and with you. Because that’s what you deserve. It’s a perfect way to spend every day here in this little vortex town.
