Music around folk, covering: traditional folk, singer-songwriters, celtic, bluegrass, cajun/zydeco, Indie folk, folk rock, humorous songs, outlaw country, mellow jazz, pop ballads, local artists and whatever else may be a little bit folky, including some theme shows and artist spotlights.

About the Host

I’m a retired pharmaceutical chemist who took radio broadcasting classes at a community college after I retired. I did this same show for several years on the college's online stream station before getting the wonderful opportunity to transfer it to KXFM in July, 2023. I ’ve always had an interest in a wide variety of music even though I cannot sing or play an instrument. I love live music performances. One of the best things about Laguna is that there are so many venues to see live and local music. There are always a multitude of community events going on like festivals and park concerts. Other great things about Laguna are the ocean, the weather, the musicians, the traffic (OK, maybe not the traffic), artists. the interesting people that live here and of course our community radio station..
